Retha Marie Cronin, 83, of 703 Garden St., died this morning in Lafayette Health Care Center. Mrs. Cronin was a member of Wallace Lutheran Church. She was born July 23, 1895, at Alamo, a daughter of Thomas and Mary Hybarger Ingersoll. On Oct. 7, 1912, she married William J. Cronin, who preceded her in death. Surviving are three sons, William, Lloyd and Kenneth, all of Lafayette; four daughters, Mrs. Raymond (Geraldine) Fairfield and Margaret Cronin, both of Crawfordsville, and Mrs. John (Ila) Kirts and Mrs. Morris (Jane) Kirts, both of Lafayette; 11 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a grandson. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Hunt & Son Funeral Home with burial in Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. - jlr
